We have been delighted with the response to our increased delegator rewards. Since the [announcement last week](https://steemit.com/steematlas/@steem-atlas/steem-atlas-10-aug-25-new-atlas-ambassador-and-increased-delegator-rewards) the @steem-atlas account has grown by 18% to over 561K SP. Today we are announcing further changes to help build a strong and sustainable economy for the Steem Atlas project. The Delegators Rewards rates are being increased and the automated voting rewards are being enhanced. ---

Increased Delegator Rewards

We have now introduced a two tier Delegator Reward Scheme. **The basic reward rate for delegators to @steem-atlas has been increased by another 6% to 0.35 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.** Additionally we are offering an enhanced rate for anyone who would like to proxy their witness votes to @steem-atlas. **This higher Delegator Proxy Rate is currently 0.40 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.** We will be keeping both the delegator rates under review to ensure we present a most attractive investment opportunity for anyone who wants to support one of Steem's leading applications and at the same time earn a worthwhile return. The minimum delegation amount has also been reduced to 250 SP to allow many more smaller investors to take part. --- We have already reached our first target of 500,000 SP to become an Atlas Whale. Now we are aiming for a total 1 Million SP for @steem-atlas to put the project on a stable footing and allow us to support as many people as possible who are posting on Steem Atlas. ---

Enhanced Voting Rates

The Automated Atlas Voting System distributes all the available voting power of @steem-atlas to all valid Steem Atlas posts published over the past 24 hours. Currently the vote percentages have been calculated according to grades allocated by the Atlas Ambassador team. **Now are we introducing a voting uplift system for anyone who delegates to the project or who sets a beneficiary on their post to @steem-atlas.** **These voting percentage increases will be in proportion to the size of the delegation and the percentage of the beneficiary.** Although these additions to the voting strengths will be modest, we offer them as a thank you to those who are supporting the project through delegations and beneficiaries. --- We hope these changes to the Delegation Rewards and the Atlas Votes will help us continue to build a strong and self-sustaining economy for the Steem Atlas project.
