My mind is like that bird today, a little still, a little filled with the smell of the wet dawn, a little calm for no reason, and a little bored for no reason. The leaves sway lightly, as if the wind sings, yet the bird is silent, saying only with the language of its eyes. Sometimes, even silence is the deepest love. The little drop of light on its lips feels like the beginning of a thousand unknown stories. Maybe it knows how the secret pain of a heart can be softened equally if it gets a little sunshine, a little greenery, a little being like itself. Standing on the vine, as she finds her balance, I too search for my own little corner of peace. The color of the sky clings to the folds of her wings, as if to say freedom does not mean flying, freedom means being able to breathe as you like. When the leaves next to her sway softly, I think to myself that life is like that, a little light, a little wind, and if you get a little courage, one day you will learn to fly. A melody suddenly forms in the bird's throat, but it does not sing the melody only floats in the air, coming inside me and leaving a light, soft touch. Then I understand that nature sometimes teaches people that love does not mean being attached, but rather gradually becoming an invisible trust. Oh little green bird, your quiet standing reminded me that the most honest moments of life sometimes are born from complete silence. Today, the way you are standing among the green leaves just like that, my mind is a little still, a little calm, a little like itself.
