Scientific name: Kalanchoe pinnata or Bryophyllum pinnatum. Thick, succulent, green and the edges are grooved. Small buds or new plants grow on the edges of the leaves. The stem is light purple in color and succulent. The flowers of this plant hang like bells, usually reddish-green in color. When the leaves are crushed and applied to wounds, it dries quickly. Eating a small amount of leaf juice reduces gastritis and ulcers. When the leaf juice is applied to the ear, it relieves pain.
