Like every day, today I have come before you with a new post. Almost all kinds of incidents happen around us. The incidents are often instructive, painful, tragic, and inspiring. That is why today I have come with a story again. Not only because of the clouds, but the air also smells of waiting. Neela called and said, will we meet today? I have something urgent to tell you. Aryan ran to the corner of the familiar library without saying anything, where their memories are woven into every brick. Neela stood there wrapped in a white shawl, an unknown emptiness on her face. My mother is suddenly sending me to London. To my mother's brother. I will start my postgraduate studies. Everything is happening so fast that I don't even have time to understand. Aryan stood still. There was no pride in his face, no tears in his eyes, but something inside seemed to crack. He just said, do you want to go? Neela stopped and said, I don't want to go, but I have to go. A long silence… Then Aryan said, I will wait. Neela's eyes trembled. They looked at each other for a long time. Even if she said no, everything was said. Neela left the next day. No phone call, no message, just a letter left in the pages of the library rack, not the last letter, but the promise of a new beginning. The language of the letter was soaked in the essence of love: I am leaving, but I am leaving everything behind. My morning, my rain, my library, my poetry are all you. Wait, please. I will come back, I will come right away. Until then, take care of yourself, and write our story for me. Arian buried the letter in his chest. He knew that now would begin that chapter of love where one has to fight not with the body, but with time. The first night, The night of Neela's farewell, Arian began to write one sentence after another across the walls of his room. No one would read it, yet he was writing: Today is the first night that you are not here, but your absence is so visible around me that it feels like you are sitting right next to me. Your silence is my wakefulness. He wasn't listening to music, he was writing... On the first page of a diary, he wrote the title: The Touch of Love: The Waiting Page From the next day on, Aryan would go to the library every day. He would sit in that corner. Where Neela had once lived. He knew what Neela would say. He would say it himself and answer it in his mind. What is the name of today's story? "Your Return." They had learned to touch each other sitting at a distance. Now it was time to test that touch. Aryan started writing poems every day. I built a nest in the shadow of your eyes, Because you are far away, I learn to love waiting. I call the sun by your name every morning, I know you will return. Until then, I touch you in the library of my imagination. One day he wrote If you return, I will not ask for anything more. I will just say.... Look, I have kept my word. I have not stopped. Seeds of Faith Neela is gone. Love is now beyond the hard wall of distance. But Aryan knows, Neela was not an infatuation, she was not just a relationship. She was faith. And faith knows how to wait.
