During breeding, the male's Snood and Wattle become larger. The feathers are spread out, much like a peacock's. It is possible to make good profits by raising them on commercial farms. They can be raised at low cost, because they easily eat grass, grains and vegetables. They should be allowed to walk in open areas. The diet should include corn, wheat, rice, vegetables and protein-rich foods. They should be kept in a clean environment with adequate water.
