A tough game but we won it.

On the 2nd day of August 2025 which was yesterday we played another football match and if we win the match we will be advancing to the semi final. We weren't tensed at all because we were so confident and we believed we will win the match. Yesterday afternoon we all gathered at the church premises waiting for our bus so that we can go to the venue of the match together. We spent alot of time waiting patiently for the bus. I even rushed to the church premises so that they won't leave me behind not knowing the bus will take time to arrive. We headed straight to the venue and our we saw our opponents there. Some of them were warming up while some haven't arrived yet. We got down from the bus and those starting the match wore their jerseys. I'm not one of the players in the tournament, I just go to cheer them up. The match started and it was very tough for most of our players because majority of our opponent were physically fit than my team players. We ended the first and season half in a goalless draw as the game was just getting more tough. We played extra time which was ten minutes each and our opponent nearly scored us, we were so lucky. We missed our first penalty and our opponent did the same.we scored the second one and our goalkeeper caught the second one our opponent played. We scored the third one and our opponent scored the third one. We scored the fourth one and that was how we won the match. The penalty score is **3 - 1**. We have advanced to the semi finals and I'm so happy about that because I was really tensed in the game especially during the three moments our opponents nearly scored us. I enjoy watching football alot especially live matches that has to do with my team. I think we will play our next match next week Saturday afternoon and I pray we win it. |
