![IMG_20250524_171627_136.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXvoaBVJAxusey4JHqqptpRp3g1JBVaeU9gFTikUw2t88/IMG_20250524_171627_136.jpg) On the 24th day of May 2025, I attended a very important meeting as my parish was the one hosting it and I don't need to pay transport fare this time around since it was happening in my parish that's within my area. I learnt alot from the meeting and it was the second time I attended that meeting. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day. |

Morning Period

|-| That day started with a very heavy rain which made me to nearly give up on going to church for our Saturdays cleanup and rehearsals. I was wishing that day wasn't Saturday, the heavy rain could have fell the previous day which was Friday when I was indoors. I prepared to leave the house no matter what because I know I have important roles to play in the church that morning. ![IMG_20250524_222325_652.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmfF8dNoVNG9VqSCg7kCfWQVDAidKqNyckeGjMJxN9zXY4/IMG_20250524_222325_652.jpg) I don't eat sometimes before going to the church on Saturday mornings but I decided to eat that day because I know I will spend alot of hours in the church as a result of the meeting I planned to attend. Rice and stew with pawpaw is very delicious and unique,I really enjoyed the meal. After eating I went to the church and some of the cleanup activities have already been carried out. I joined my fellow altar servers who came despite the heavy rainfall and we discussed some important things and made some announcements before dismissing for the day. |

Afternoon Period

|-| The deanery laity meeting started in the afternoon with mass and my fellow altar servers have already left except one, who served the mass. I could have joined him but I didn't wear shoe to church, I wore pams slippers. The mass didn't take too long and our Reverend father welcomed the visitors from another parish who came to attend the meeting before he ended the mass. The meeting was a very lively one as we didn't allow the dull weather to make it boring. Questions were answered and we all learnt alot that day. Towards the ending of the meeting, attendance was taken and I was the only Altar server that was present. After a prayer for said for the refreshments and the closing prayer followed suit. |

Evening Period

|-| My father was preparing to host a meeting in our house so he told me to book ice block that I will carry to the house the next day morning. That was what I did after the meeting ended. I paid three steem for the ice block and went home. It was in the evening had time for myself. I ironed my altar servers uniform because that's what I chose to wear the next day due to the retreat we had. I ate dinner after that then I retired to bed because I need to wake up early the next day and prepare to serve 6an mass, I serve mass almost every Sunday. It was a very hectic day that turned out to be successful and I was glad. **All images legally belong to me✅** |
