It rained today and the weather of today became dull. I had some important things to do before leaving the house for the event and I couldn't even finish all of them but at least I did something. Catholic Catedraticum For 2025

|-| What is Catedraticum? I know alot of you must be wondering what it actually means and I will explain it to you all now. This year alot of parishes in Rumuokoro Deanery were levied **7,517** worth of steem which is equivalent to NGN1,000,000 in my local currency. Alot of parishes cooperated well and some also paid higher than that. ![IMG_20250614_131046_983.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmX22Mmvxo7PS3oUjvaH7oRWhyyUjFyx7KCNUA6t14eD7p/IMG_20250614_131046_983.jpg) My parish known as Stell Maris Catholic Church, wanted to bring a bus that will take alot of us to the parish that was hosting the event. Most people kept their hope on that bus and it never came. Alot of these people start pairing with people that have cars. I couldn't pair with anyone but am glad I didn't put all my eggs in one basket. I carried NGN1,000 with me even though the transportation cost to and fro is NGN1,600. I was expecting to also pair with two of my fellow altar servers I informed about the event but they kept all their hope on the bus and refused to bring their transport fare. I almost gave up but I needed to attend that event as the president of altar servers in my parish. Alot of catholic churches attended the event so that they can support the bishop. I think all the Parish Priest our deanery attended the catedraticum mass. It starts with mass and most times the Bishop use to be present but he wasn't present today, maybe he sent a representative. All the organizations came out eugh their various uniforms including the altar servers and I must confess that it was a colourful day, everyone were happy and the mass in which the event took place inside it, was successful. |
