I have come to this platform to learn and know new things as well as to work together with everyone. I love writing poetry, I like to express my thoughts in words, so I have come to you. So I filled my diary with poems. And that's why I thought I would share them with you one by one. Today's mind is trapped in the web of self-interest There is no more compassion in the heart Friendship is a paper account Love is just an act A knife hidden behind a smile Eyes are full of greed No response to the suffering of others One's own dreams come first The light of humanity has faded The bond of trust is broken and shattered Sympathy is like a stone The walls of the barrow have touched the sky Envy flares up at the sight of the happiness of others They laugh silently at the sorrow of others Humanity drowns in the river of greed Darkness grows in the bosom of emptiness Yet the lamp of hope still burns One day this cage of self-interest will break People will return to people A new dawn will be built in love
