We can relate to in our lives. I found this topic very interesting. Because often movies don’t just entertain us but also teach us important life lessons. Sometimes a character in a movie gets so close to our hearts that. ◉***Watch a movie***◉

For this challenge I watched The Breadwinner (2017). It is a very beautiful emotional and educational animated film. Based on the novel by the famous Canadian author Deborah Ellis. The film was directed by Nora Twomey. While its story presents the difficult conditions in Afghanistan. When the Taliban was in power and the lives of ordinary people. Especially women and children. Who lives in Kabul with her parents and siblings. Her father was an educated teacher. But the Taliban arrested him without reason. After the arrest of her father. The whole family goes home in great difficulty because during that era. Women were not allowed to leave the house alone or work. Food and drink in the house start to run out. And every passing day feels more difficult than the previous one. In such circumstances Parvana makes a very big and dangerous decision. She cuts her hair and disguises herself as a boy. So that she can go to the market work and provide for her family. This decision is not easy for her. Because she is always afraid of being caught and punished. But her love and sense of responsibility. Towards her family made her brave. The film not only shows Parvana's struggle. But also conveys a beautiful message of hope patience and sacrifice love. And human courage that touches people of all ages. Every scene in this film feels very close to reality. Especially the moments when Parvana faces difficulties for her family. While watching the film. There were several scenes that made me emotional. Because it is heartwarming to see. A young girl shouldering such great responsibilities. I think The Breadwinner is not just an animated film. But a story that teaches us that difficult situations cannot only make a person weak but also strong. If they do not give up their courage patience and hope. ◉***choose a character you strongly relate with***◉

The character who touched my heart the most in this film is Parvana. That is why I have chosen her for this challenge. Although other characters are also important in the film Parvana’s courage. Patience and responsibility. And selfless love for her family impressed me the most. She was just an eleven year old girl. But the circumstances made her wiser and stronger than her age. What I liked the most about her character was that. She fought against the difficulties instead of giving up on them. When her father was arrested. The situation at her home became very bad. At that time she could only think about herself. But she did not. She prioritized the needs of her family over her desires. She cut her long hair disguised herself as a boy. And risked her life every day to provide food for her family. It was not an easy decision for a little girl to take. She never gives up hope despite all the difficulties. She felt scared many times. She cried on many occasions. But she never thought of giving up. She believed with each new day that one day her father would definitely return. And things would change. This positive thinking makes me feel close to this character. One scene in the film that impressed me the most was. When Parvana disguises herself as a boy for the first time to help her father. And goes to the market. In this scene there was both fear and courage on her face. At that time I realized that sometimes a person has to make decisions. For the sake of their loved ones that seem very difficult. This was the moment when I realized that Parvana is not just a film character. But a symbol of bravery hope and sacrifice. I chose Parvana not just. Because she is the main character of the film. But because her personality makes me realize that. Difficulties are a part of life. But if a person stays true to their purpose trusts in Allah and does not give up. Then any difficulty can be faced. Her positive thinking sense of responsibility. And spirit of sacrifice for her family are very inspiring to me. ◉***Mention the similarities between you and that character?(Struggles and strength)***◉

Although my life and Parvana's life are not the same. Because she lived in a war torn environment and faced situations that are not easy to imagine. There are many qualities of her personality that I feel very close to. I think that a connection with a character is not only. Because our lives are exactly the same. But also because we feel like we have their thinking. Their courage and their attitude. Parvana's greatest quality was that. She did not give up even in difficult situations. When her father was arrested. The whole family was in trouble. Food and drink began to decrease in the house. It was not easy to go out and there was an atmosphere of fear everywhere. Even in these situations. Parvana did not think only about her own problems. But also felt responsible for her mother sister and younger brother. There are times in my life when various difficulties come up. Sometimes success in a task comes late. Sometimes things don't go as planned. And sometimes a person faces disappointment. At such times I try to be patient and find a solution to the problem instead of getting upset. This thought connects me to the character of Parvana. Because she also faced every difficulty with courage and understanding. Another quality of Parvana was her immense love for her family. She valued the happiness and needs of her family more than herself. I also love spending time with my family. Helping them and rejoicing in their happiness. I believe that family is a person's greatest strength. And when we support each other. She kept moving forward every day with the belief that one day things would definitely get better. I also believe that no difficulty in life lasts forever. If a person keeps working hard praying and not giving up. Allah Almighty will definitely make things easy. Parvana was very brave. But that does not mean that she never felt fear. She was also afraid worried and sometimes cried. But she did not let fear become an obstacle on the path to her destination. In my opinion this is the real bravery. Her personality had qualities like love compassion tolerance and responsibility. And these are the qualities that every human being should have. That is why I feel that although my life is not like Parvana's life. Her thinking her patience. Her hope her love for her family. Her sense of responsibility and her habit of staying strong in the face of difficulties. Are qualities that I feel very much related to. This is why Parvana from The Breadwinner is one of my favorite characters. ◉***What lessons have you learnt from that character***?◉

Every film teaches a person some lesson. But there are some characters that remain in our minds even after the film ends. For me Parvana is one such character. Watching her life. I felt that the real strength of a person lies not in his physical strength. But in his courage, patience and strong will. If a person has hope in his heart. The ***first lesson*** I learned from Parvana was that instead of running away from difficulties. One should face them. When her father was arrested. She had the opportunity to cry and give up. But she did not. She made a difficult decision for the sake of her family. And faced every danger bravely. This made me realize that trials come to every person in life. But the successful are those. Who move forward with courage and patience. The ***second lesson*** I learned is the importance of family. Parvana thought more about her family than herself. She prioritized the needs of her mother sister and brothers over her own. This impressed me a lot. Because I also believe that family is the greatest blessing of a person. When we maintain a relationship of love respect and cooperation with our family. One day her father would return and things would get better. I really liked this positive thinking of hers. In my own life too sometimes there are situations. When something does not go as per my wishes or success comes late. But now I try to move forward with hope instead of despair. Another quality of Parwana was her sense of responsibility. She was young in age. But her thinking was very big. She proved that it is not age. But intention and courage that are important to fulfill responsibility. This character taught me that. We should never neglect our duties no matter how difficult the situation is. ***I also learned a great lesson*** about patience from this film. Not every problem in life is solved immediately. Sometimes a person has to wait a long time. But if he continues to work with patience and hard work. Then in the end Allah Almighty makes things easy for him. To me The Breadwinner is not just an animated film. But a beautiful message of hope courage sacrifice patience and love. Parwana’s character teaches us that. If a person believes in his purpose and trusts in Allah. He can face even the biggest challenges. That is why I feel connected to Parvana’s character. Although our lives are different her courage, responsibility positive thinking love for family. And the habit of remaining steadfast in the face of difficulties are qualities that. I want to adopt in my life as well. Finally I would like to say that every film teaches us something. But the Breadwinner taught me that no matter. How tough the circumstances. We should never give up hope hard work patience and courage.
